Vesta is in Aries until December 2025, when she will enter Taurus
Vesta’s sign position is very important. She will not be in Aries forever, she only spends about 5 weeks in each sign, so it is important to know where she is beginning her transit through your chart. Vesta will be in Aries until December 2025, when she will enter Taurus. She then enters Gemini on July 2026, Cancer on March 2027, Leo on January 2028, Virgo on August 2029, Libra on June 2030 and Scorpio November 2030. After that there are a few years of retrograde motion before the cycle begins again with Sagittarius in February 2034 and Capricorn December 2034 before moving into Aquarius September 2035.
Vesta spends about 2 1/2 weeks in each house.
She takes about 9 months to go through a sign
My understanding is that Vesta takes about 9 months to go through a sign, so you need to know which sign she was in at the time you were born to get an idea of what your ‘hottest’ area of your horoscope is.
About 5 weeks in each decan or sub-section of a sign
Vesta spends only two and a half weeks in each house of your horoscope, because she is a slow-moving asteroid. This means that she takes a long time to go around the Sun.
Our desire for intimacy
Vesta’s placement and aspects can indicate where we might lack satisfaction in spite of all our efforts to succeed. We might need to learn to relax and enjoy the fruits of our labour, or at least feel comfortable enough putting serious work on hold for a short time.
In horoscopes with a strong Vesta emphasis, there can be hypersensitivity to criticism and an inability (on some level) to accept praise.
What we sacrifice
Vesta is a teacher: She wants us to work hard, to be conservative, and to have strong convictions. The problem is that Vesta’s values are often out of date; she’s the last one in the room who doesn’t understand why people aren’t as conservative as they used to be.
What we need from Vesta is a new set of values. We need her to help us drop our fears, our need for security and stability, our desire for self-sufficiency and control over our lives, even if it means that we lose something in the process.

The part of us that feels we have to keep going
Vesta is a goddess of the Roman Empire. She was the virgin goddess who built Rome and she supports us in our living by giving us enough energy to do what must be done.
In you, Vesta is the part of you that is always working. It pushes and strives, but it does not know how to relax and enjoy life. Vesta is always rushing off somewhere to keep things moving forward. She does not have time for friends or children because there are too many ‘commitments’ in her life.
